Jupiter have been investigating their shadows!
Jupiter class, along with Neptune and Mars too, have been investigating how their shadows change throughout the day. They used metre sticks to measure the length of their shadows at different times and also used a compass to see which way their shadow lay.
As this was a science lesson the children thought about what they wanted to find out -
They also thought about the things they needed to keep the same and what was going to change in this investigation.
They also made some predictions about what they thought might happen and then - off they went outside. Luckily there was some sunshine or it might have been a bit tricky to measure a shadow!
The investigation is still ongoing - what will they find? Let's hope the sunshine stays to finish investigating!
