Following in the footsteps of many famous people, Mars class attempt the Mannequin Challenge.
To finish off their topic on 'The Romans' the children made some Clay Lamps.
On Wednesday 7th September it was time for Mars class to share what they had been learning so far this year.......

Mars class recreate the Solar System in the playground.
Mars Class spent an exciting session building towers out of spaghetti. The challenge was that it had to be as high as possible and had to be able to hold a marshmallow.
Weclome back! I hope that you've all had a enjoyable summer and it's been great to see lots of new faces in the class this year (as well as some old ones).
This term our topic is the 'Ruthless Romans'. We'll be learning lots about the Romans, and will be taking a trip to St Albans.
PE is on a Thursday and Friday.
Spelling should be in on a Monday.
Learning logs are in on a Tuesday.

For World Book Day, the class came into school dressed as some of their favourite characters from books. We had some great costumes in Mars Class, as you can see below!
Science recently has involved looking at what we can dissolve in water and what we can't. Then we tried to separate everything from the water - with mixed success!
