This well known reading provider for schools has opened its online resources tp help you keep up your reading fluency while reading funny, classic or gripping yarns!
Particularly suitable for KS1 - your teachers will be in touch to give you ideas and colour bands to look at.
Also suitable read for KS2 all sorts of stories including classic tales like Black Beauty, organised by age
It is American but it does have fiction/non-fiction books grouped by ZPD. They aren’t necessarily by well-known authors but there are some well-known texts on there. It’s also full to the brim with non-fiction so could be useful if they are looking for age-appropriate research texts.
