We have been really enjoying Roald Dahl's James and the Giant Peach.
We were all appalled by the treatment of young James by Aunt Sponge and Aunt Spiker and chuckled at the thought of them being squashed by the peach as it rolled down the hill!
Now that the peach has made a safe landing in the ocean, we are all anxiously waiting to see what will happen next!
We have been imagining what it would be like to be James and have written diary entries and descriptions of settings along our journey. We also worked together to make some collages of the creatures found inside the peach.
